Youth & Adult Programs

The Becker County Museum is dedicated to engaging our community through a diverse range of classes, camps, family events, and clubs for all ages, offered year-round. Whether you’re seeking a creative outlet, a deeper understanding of the natural world, or a welcoming social community, there’s something for everyone.

How Can We Help You Grow?

Classes

We offer hands-on classes focused on specific artistic skills such as rosemaling, mosaic making, and basket weaving. Taught by skilled artisans passionate about their craft, these classes provide a unique opportunity to learn, create, and connect with others.

Camps

Our educational camps offer firsthand learning in STEAM, art, and natural sciences while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, teamwork, and other essential 21st-century skills. Designed for youth from Pre-K through middle school, summer sessions run four days a week in three-hour blocks, with additional mini-camps offered during school breaks.

Family Days

Family Days celebrate community and creativity with fun, hands-on activities for all ages. From ceramics painting, STEAM construction, and photo booths, to holiday-themed events like Santa’s Workshop and 4th of July Tie-Dye, each event offers a unique way for families to learn, create, and connect.

Clubs

In 2025, we launched our first community club, Chess Club, marking an exciting new opportunity for local engagement. We aim to expand to different areas of community interest and need—bring your ideas to the museum and help shape future clubs!
