Step behind the scenes and discover what it takes to run a live show! In this exciting three-day camp, students will explore the world of
sound and stage production while learning the essential skills used in concerts, performances, and community events.

The first day, campers will meet at the Becker County Museum from 1pm-4pm for hands-on experience with professional production equipment. Students will learn the purpose and function of key gear such as microphones, speakers, mixing boards, cables, and stage
equipment. They will also practice proper setup, safe handling, and basic troubleshooting while gaining an understanding of how sound systems and stage production work together to create a successful event.

Day two, students will take their learning into the real world by meeting at the City Park to assist with load-in for a
live community show. If Campers want to experience a full production (load-in and load-out, support basic production tasks, and see firsthand how a live event comes together from behind the scenes) they should plan to stay until 7-8pm Exact times will
be TBD once the tech riders are received. Campers should plan to bring a water bottle, and pack supper.

Day three, students will meet back at the Becker County Museum from 1-4pm to discuss what was learned, any challenges that presented during the production and take away thoughts.

This camp is perfect for students interested in music, theater, technology, or live events and offers a unique opportunity to learn real production skills while participating in an actual community performance experience.
